WEEKLY FOCUS

Weeks 3 and 4

INTERNATIONAL FRIENDSHIP DAY

Why is Friendship an important part of our lives?

Friendship is essential because it provides emotional support, companionship, and a sense of belonging. Friends offer a safe space to share our thoughts and feelings, helping us navigate life's challenges and celebrating our successes. They contribute to our overall well-being by reducing stress, enhancing our self-esteem, and providing a network of support during difficult times. Moreover, friendships enrich our lives with shared experiences, laughter, and memories, making life more enjoyable and meaningful. They are a vital aspect of our social fabric, fostering connection, understanding, and personal growth.

WELLNESS WEEK

Next week is our termly focus of wellness for all students.

On Tuesday 6th August, students will have an incursion in the afternoon from Ned's Mindset Mission.

NED’s message is simple; Never give up - Encourage others -  Do your best. The show works to inspire students, promote academic achievement, and support our school goals. NED will become a positive role model at both school and at home.

We have been lucky enough to secure this as a 'pay it forward' show.  In order to continue the pay it forward message, students will have the opportunity to purchase a yoyo, not only as a tangible reminder of NED’s message but also as a mindset tool.  While learning to yoyo, children will make mistakes, try again, & improve.

Yo-yos will be on sale after the show and at school for a week after the event.
