New and/or changes for 2024

9:00Session 1
10:00Session 2
11:00Recess
11:30Session 3
12:30Session 4

1:40Lunch recess

  • Collection of students at the end of the day - A little bird told me the other day that I need to let parents know that they can enter the school ground to collect their child/ren at the end of the day.  Starting immedicately, please organise a meeting place inside the school grounds for you and you child/ren to gather at the end of the day.  The gate entry on Panfield Ave can get very busy and congested, it will be great to have that cleared for families to exit efficiently.
  • New staff member - We recently appointed a new staff member to work with Emma McCann in Grade 1 for 2024.  Tamara Molnar has jumped straight in and been with the students during the final two transition sessions.  Welcome Tamara!
  • School Chaplain - Mullum Primary School was unsuccessful in its application for funding for Chaplaincy for 2024 and beyond.  We farewell Nelson and thank him for the time and contribution he has made during 2023.  We will continue to offer Counselling Support for students one day per week.  Please speak to Jenny Verheijden about this if it is of interest.
  • Camps - In 2024 we will be running two camps - Grade 5/6 (28-30 May at Bacchus Marsh) and Grade 3/4 (18-20 November at Mt Evelyn).  In 2025, we will not be running camps to allow a focus on the school production.  From 2025 the pattern will be set for camps one year and production in the alternate.
  • Assemblies - Back by popular demand we will commence the school year with Assemblies in the hall.  You are invited to join us on any Friday morning at 8:55.
