Art Show 2023

The USPS Art Show was amazing!

Thank you to all the students and teachers for the help to set up and pack up. Special shout out to Jack Cameron who's hand is still recovering from all the staple gun work. Also of course to every single student who created such incredible work throughout the year to make our show have the impact that it did. There were lots of "Wows" declared as our school community explored all of the amazing pieces.

Wrapping Up 2023

All classes have wrapped up the year with Christmas cards, Christmas colouring other fun experiments. Most importantly has been the creating of personal folios to take home all of the incredible pieces they have created throughout the year.

The decision is always hard to make about what to do with it all. The reality is, we can't keep it all. Some suggestions are to take a photo of your favourite pieces and assemble a digital portfolio. This is a fun way to see how far their skills develop over the years.

My favourite is to select your favourite piece and frame it. What better art for your home than something made by someone you love. They make great grandparent gifts for Christmas and birthdays too!

Special thanks to the 3/4A cleaning crew, who have been helping to pack up the art room at the end of each week. This volunteer group have enthusiastically cleaned brushes, wiped tables, swept the floor and of coarse cleaned and decorated my whiteboard each week.
