Highlights from Heights Campus 

The FLC, JLC and MLC students have been attending the Noble Park Swimming Centre to engage in swimming lessons for the last 2 weeks. I visited some of the classes in the second week and saw how much fun the students were having and how far their skills had progressed. It was also wonderful to see and hear how independent the students have become getting changed after swimming and having their belongings organised the night before! On Friday the students got to have some fun games and enjoy the outdoor water park - this is always a BIG hit with all the students!      

Second Hand Uniforms: As we head towards the end of the school year, we know some students who might be leaving our school and especially Grade 6’s who won’t need their uniforms any longer. If you would kindly consider donating your used uniforms to the school office (cleaned and in good condition), we will ensure other families who need new clothing will benefit from this. Another option is to donate them to our local Saint Vincents store for local families to access. Your kindness is also helping to recycle and reduce the impact on our environment! Thank you!

Eat the Rainbow- Healthy Eating Challenge: In Week 8 our Student Representative Council students have been promoting a Healthy Eating Competition. The children have been bringing fruit and veggies of all different colours and earning points for their class. All children on Heights Campus received a free piece of fruit in the morning on Tuesday and some delicious watermelon on Friday to celebrate. The class with the most points will win a Pizza Cooking Class! Yummy! We will announce the winning class in our next newsletter.

Save the Date: Friday 15th December is our End of Year Whole School Assembly and Award Presentation at the Springvale Town Hall. We hope lots of our families will come along and join in and have some fun after the awards on the Springvale Campus.
