OSHClub - Webinar for Prep Families

OSHClub is excited to host a special webinar event for Prep families starting primary school in 2024. 

Gain exclusive insights on preparing your child for primary school and discover the benefits of OSHC. This webinar will feature ‘play’ expert Robyn Monro Miller, Play Australia CEO, who will provide an explanation of what ‘play’ is and how important it is for child development. Robyn will also provide handy hints to support families in preparing for school, and how OSHC can help with the nervous transition.

Who:  Hosted by Junior Adventures Group (OSHClub), featuring Melinda Crole (JAG Australia CEO) and Robyn Monro Miller (Play Australia CEO)

When:  12 December & 24 January (6.00pm, 8.00pm, 10pm AEST)

Topics will include:

• Importance of play in children's development 
• The role of play in reducing stress and anxiety
• Common challenges children experience e.g. missing home and toys, not learning to read in the first week
• Playful practices at home that can help a child get ready for routines
• Preparing your child for the school playground and the OSHC setting
• The bridge between home and school

Scouts School Holiday Program 2024

2024 Girls AFL Opportunity

Werribee Districts Football Club are seeking expressions of interest in two Junior Girls Football teams for 2024. Please see the attached flyer for more information. WDFC are seeking players, coaches and support staff to start an under-12 and 14 Girls Football Team. Players interested will need to be born in 2012 or 2013 for under 12s, and 2010 or 2011 for under 14s.
