Brain Olympia

On Wednesday 28 August, two St Xavier’s teams competed in the Tamworth Cluster of the Brain Olympia competition. Both teams did an outstanding job placing first and second at the end of the day! The top two teams from the cluster competition qualify for the Grand Final to be hosted for the first time at St Xavier’s in two weeks time.

Our teams were wonderful representatives and should be congratulated on their preparation and participation.

Playground Marking

On Wednesday August 21, we had the team from Edumarking come and install a range of playground markings around our school for our students to use. We now have an activity trail, a map of Australia, a Gamilaraay Hopscotch, a giant snakes and ladders game, a 10x10 multiplication table, a car mat and our school logo.

These are fantastic additions to our school to assist with play and learning and they look amazing! The students were very excited to be able to start using them and we are very proud to have them as part of our school environment.
