🏑Hockey Club

Wishing our Mazenod hockey family all a Happy Easter and an awesome holiday break! Whether you’re off on a camping trip, chilling at home, smashing chocolate eggs, or just catching up on sleep — we hope you're having a blast and enjoying some well-earned downtime with family and friends.

Even though it’s the holidays, the countdown is officially on… just three weeks until the season kicks off!

Here are a few quick reminders and updates:

🏑 Training 🏑

Training is now well underway with 3 weeks until games commence.

Holiday Training - Turf Booked! Training is still happening over the holidays for anyone who’s around and keen to keep things ticking over. We’ll be down at PHS on the usual training days — no stress if you’re away, but if you can make it, we’d love to see you there!

🏑 Game Commencement: May 3rd/4th 🏑

The hockey season will officially commence on the weekend of May 3rd/4th! Fixtures will be confirmed shortly, and as soon as the schedules are available, we will send them out to all coaches and team managers. They will then share the schedules with players and families so everyone can plan accordingly.

Keep an eye on the team chats, there’ll be a few updates flying around as we edge closer to Round 1.

🏑 Equipment 🏑

Make sure your gear’s good to go. That first game always sneaks up fast, so double-check your stick, mouthguard, shoes, and that you haven’t outgrown your kit since last season. If you are in need of any hockey equipment you can get shin pads, shoes, balls and sticks at CUHC sponsor Republic of Hockey ( https://republicofhockey.com.au ) amongst other Perth Hockey stores.

This season we will use the Mazenod white sports shirts paired with blue Curtin shorts and orange Curtin socks.

🏑 Registration 🏑

Registration is still open, however please register asap so that we have visibility of team numbers which is a huge help to the club and all the coaches. Please register online via this link www.cuhc.org.au/registrations  Registration will also allow you to receive club updates from our club president.
