International Award Scheme

Duke of Edinburgh International Award Scheme
Mazenod College is excited to reintroduce the Duke of Edinburgh International Award for students in Years 9 to 12, starting in Term 2. This internationally recognised program celebrates young people's contributions to society through four key areas: Physical Recreation, Service, Skills, and Adventurous Journey.
The Award has been running for over 70 years in Commonwealth countries and is endorsed by the School Curriculum and Standards Authority (SCSA), making it a valuable addition to any student’s personal development and academic record.
Students can participate at the Bronze, Silver, or Gold level, depending on their year group and experience. Further information will be provided in Term 2, but those interested can explore the Award framework in advance by visiting The Duke of Ed - Awards WA.
