Principal's Report

Hello Everybody,

We are into our final days of term 1. I look forward to celebrating what has been a great term of learning and fun with our Easter Bonnet parade and final assembly tomorrow. This will be held on the basketball courts at 2.30pm, followed by a 3.30pm dismissal.

This term our students have engaged with a variety of experiences and opportunities. Highlights and achievements from the term include: start-up celebration day, year 2 mini-beasts incursion, meet and greet interviews, junior first-aid incursion, colour fun run, NAPLAN completion for year 3 & 5, Grade 6 inter-school sport, before school running club, Harmony Day, Kids Unlimited coding club and dance club, after school Soccer X program, state school spectacular choir rehearsals, wheelchair basketball incursion for year 5 & 6, 3-6 cross country trials, school photo days, and the 5/6 upstander incursion. Not to mention all the day-to-day classroom and specialist lesson learning opportunities and individual student achievements and learning growth. Well done to all.

Please enjoy the year level term summaries and photos, as well as some student reports from different recent events throughout the pages of this newsletter.

Yesterday I sent an email to all students via their teacher to let them know I heard a strange noise in the security camera office. When I peeked around the corner, I spotted... the Easter Bunny looking for all the well-behaved children in the yard! I quickly snapped a few photos to show the students. Imagine their gasps of surprise!

Have a great school holiday and Easter period everyone. See you on Tuesday the 22nd April! Don't forget Monday 21st April is a public holiday (Easter Monday) and Friday 25th April is also a public holiday (ANZAC day) so the first week of term 2 is only a 3 day week!

Take care,
