FUN RUN

Red Winter once again wowed the Fun Run crowds down at Queenscliff Oval, playing some great music while students rested and recovered after their run. Thanks so much to Grace Britnell, CJ Solomon, El Rechenberg and Hibiki Tan for their amazing performance on the day.

TUNES ON THURSDAY

Some stellar performances at last week’s ‘Tunes’ by Charli German, Harry Zolfel and Caelan Jones with accompaniment and moral support from Nadine really started this term’s ‘Tunes’ off with a great vibe. Don’t forget if you want to sign up to perform, just come and see Mrs Moffatt in the bandroom!

ANZAC Commemoration

Music students made a fabulous contribution to the School’s ANZAC Commemoration last Thursday. Performing Arts Captains Ella Williams and Frank Huang led Singit members in a moving performance of ‘In the Silence’, sensitively accompanied by Brass Quartet Braydn Beckwith Smith, Liam Biro, Harrison Sprigg and Angus Moffatt. Multi -tasking hero Liam Biro also played a very musical Last Post and Rouse in the balcony of the gym.

Thank you to all these students for adding so much to this important event.

SCHOOL PRODUC

The Matilda Band have been putting in many hours of rehearsal on weekends, and during the holidays to prepare for the upcoming production of Matilda.

Hats off to Amanda Linton, Emma Moffatt, Braydn Beckwith Smith, Harrison Sprigg, Declan Chandler, Angus Moffatt, Finn Ibrahim, Willow Ganly, Lisette Dyer, Keith Busbridge, Lee Masters and Liam Carney for their dedication and enthusiasm for this massive commitment!
