School Council Update

School Council Update March 2025
Welcome to the second edition of the Le Page Primary School Council update for 2025.
Just a reminder that this update aims to create an open line of communication with School Council and the important work it does for the growth, promotion and development of our school.
School Council’s role is to make decisions that set our school’s direction and ensures the school is run with the best interest of all our students.
What was on our Agenda.
Canteen investigations have been completed, we will trail a new café provider in term 2. More communications will come out shortly. Note – we will keep our existing provider during this time.
The fundraising committee are looking for volunteers to assist with running the trivia night. Please reach out to them if you are interested in helping.
We endorsed the school’s annual report and performance summary for release onto the website.
We endorsed the following school policies; cash handling, electronic funds management, school purchasing card, student wellbeing and engagement, child safety responding reporting, child safety code and conduct, camp and excursions, bullying, visitors and volunteers.
