Celebrating Learning

Kii everyone, 

Last week we began our maths main lesson. This main lesson follows the fairies, Una, Decie and Centie as they venture into the woods and meet the mathematical magical Womes - creatures created as a product of witch and gnome magic. 

The Womes have the task to teach Una, Decie and Centie all about the four operations and are named as such: Addison (Addition), Subtracto (Subtraction), Multiplicity (Multiplication) and Divinity (Division). Finally after practising their skills they meet the divine Ether Equals. The kids are really into it!

In other parts of our learning, we have enjoyed doing a lot of independent writing, weaving, skipping, singing, poetry and painting.
