Wellbeing

Welcoming Charlotte Cameron

Charlotte Cameron will be joining the wellbeing team as a second-year social work student. She will be working with students and staff at TPS as part of her graduate studies and will be overseen by Anna Baker, the Mental Health and Wellbeing Leader.

Charlotte has an undergraduate degree in Arts, majoring in History and Anthropology, and is currently studying a Master of Social Worker at the University of Melbourne with a view to qualify as a registered social worker with the Australian Association of Social Workers at the end of this year.

She has previously completed a social work placement at specialised aged housing agency Wintringham, in the western suburbs of Melbourne. She also has experience working with young people through the gender equity art and discussion magazine GenZine, and with the wider community through local community meals programs. She is interested in how social workers can support people across all stages of the life span. She’s especially curious about how schools can nourish the biological, psychological and spiritual aspects of children's lives through to adolescence and adulthood.

Charlotte is keen to learn the rhythms and routines at TPS and begin to form solid connections for her time here, which will conclude in late August.
