School Council

Kii everyone,

We undertook a brief survey to gather feedback on the event. The strong sense of community engagement and spirit was a highlight, as many attendees valued the opportunities to interact and connect. The children's activities, such as crafting for Mother's Day and art room activities, were well-received. The chai and baked goods were a hit. The variety and simplicity of the offerings were appreciated.

We also received some great feedback to improve future events.

  • The wet weather was a key challenge.
  • Organisation of stalls and event layout to manage crowds/queues more efficiently was raised by many.
  • We heard that introducing music, making more announcements, and celebrating specific groups could enhance community spirit.
  • Increasing volunteer diversity and encouraging broader participation.
  • Offering a wider variety of food and drink options, including more savory items and drinks for kids.
  • Improving communication and providing more advance notice for future events

We look forward to working on these suggestions and making our next events even better.

Our upcoming confirmed events are:

  • Winter Solstice celebration on Friday June 21st.
  • Art/music Expo on Thursday June 27th
  • NAIDOC day on Thursday July 18th

Social Committee is also considering a few possibilities for later in the year, these ideas aren’t confirmed as they are still in early planning stage.

  • Music Festival Gig
  • Spring Fair
  • Trivia Night

We have a few little groups contributing to the planning of these events, but we could always use more help. If any of these future events sparks your interest and you would like to help shape them, please get in touch with the social committee.  tps.socialctte@gmail.com
