Botanic Gardens Excursion 21-5- 2024

Walking through Fern-Gully.

When we got to the botanical gardens we had some snacks. After snacks, we walked to fern-gully. It was like a jungle there. We were walking and everyone felt so calm, and it was so quiet, we could hear water flowing, it sounded like a waterfall in there.

Sent bags and binoculars.

After we walked through fern-gully we sat down and filled a fabric bag with lavender and rose petals, it smelt really nice, and it was relaxing. After that we sat by a lake and had a choice, we could use binoculars, continue the mandala, watch the ducks that were in the lake or draw on the mat.

Zine making with 100 Story Building.

After we had a walk around the garden, we sat down with someone from 100 Story Building, to make a zine. We got to draw a picture of our favourite part from the walk, and we also drew pictures of what was below and above us. It was so fun making the zines, and the whole thing was so amazing and beautiful
