Performing Arts News
Hi Tarneit Rise families,
Prep students have been demonstrating their Performing Arts skills this term in Drama. Last week the Prep students have been finalising using their voice, facial expressions and body to act out a character from ‘Goldilocks and the Three Bears’ and performed it. Next week the students will be moving to music to express their feelings with basic choreography.
Grade 1 and 2 students have continued to practise using their voice to create characters with their shadow puppets. This week students will rehearse in small groups for their performance.
Grade 3 and 4 students have developed their characters voice, body and movements this week. They are using scripts or improvised scenarios to create short performances.
Grade 5 and 6 students are doing film making this term. This week they learned about camera shots and angles and next week they will create a script outline. They will then be using their new film making skills to create their own short films.
