Heathmont Staff Teaching Awards! 

On the 10th May, two members of Heathmont staff were awarded for their achievements during their recent Masters programs at Deakin University.  

Christina Fittje (who teaches German) received the Modern Language Teacher’s Association of Victoria Master of Teaching Student Award for her achievements in her language specialisation, while David Young (who teaches Maths and Science) received a Bank First Academic Excellence Award for his performance in the Master of Applied Learning and Teaching. 

The awards event was an excellent night, with opportunities to hear from leading teachers and innovators in education and to network with other graduate teachers.
