Zone Cross Country: 

It was a wild, wet, windy west Auckland day when our intrepid team of 36 runners headed off to Henderson Valley to brave the elements, slippery surfaces and mud.

All our runners did themselves, their families, and our school proud. There were lots of impressive individual results and a great team result, as we finished third overall.

A big thank you to all those parents who supported us on the day. A big thank you also to Ormiston College and Mangere Central School for lending us their school vans—this saved us over $500 on bus hire and was greatly appreciated.

Finally, a big thank you to teacher - and outstanding sports coach - Nuree Greenhalgh for coaching and preparing our teams for this event.
