Every week students work together in their small lessons groups on their practice, attendance and preparation for lessons.  From each year level one group receives the award for outstanding commitment to these goals.  The small groups below have earned the reward for term 1.  Keep up the great work.

It is that exciting time where Junior Strings starts their rehearsals for the year.  We had our first rehearsal last week but between the two public holidays it was missed by some.  Please ensure your child is aware of rehearsal dates and times. 

Next Week

• We will have a rehearsal starting next Monday the 12 of May - Week 4 - in the strings room (where they do lessons/above the tuckshop)
• We also have the Junior Strings Extravaganza happening next week on Tuesday 13th of May – Week 4 – in the hall.  This one starts at 8am and finishes at 2pm. Students are welcome to go home at 2pm or return to their school classes.  We finish this event with a concert at 1:30pm – please come along and hear their amazing work.

Week 5

From this week we will continue with Monday morning rehearsals starting at 8am.

Those students who do school lessons will continue with their lessons during the day on Tuesdays as normal.  Students are welcome to leave their instrument overnight Monday to avoid taking their instruments to and from school 2 days in a row.
