Gardening

We have had a wonderful start to the year in gardening with students in Foundation, year 1 and 2.

We have enjoyed munching and crunching on our Summer crops such as cucumbers, tomatoes, figs and pears.

We are patiently watching the pumpkins grow, in anticipation of making soup later in Autumn!

We have been learning about compost and recycling food scraps in our new compost corner

We worked hard to fill up our new garden planters and we have started planning what we will plant in them - and are excited to include a range of sensory plants for play.

A huge thanks to the families who have come along to working bees , moved soil and mulch and helped with plant stalls.
