Harmony Day celebrations

When: Friday 21 March - dress up day

PMPS will be recognising Harmony Day this year on Friday 21 March with a cultural dress up day (or by wearing some orange).

Harmony Day celebrates Australia’s rich cultural heritage by fostering conversations around inclusivity, respect and belonging for all Australians. This year's theme is ‘Everyone Belongs’.

On this day, students will participate in activities that promote cultural awareness and inclusion. There will also be a presentation at the following Monday's assembly, and the following week's morning meetings will feature presentations made by Year 6 leaders showcasing some best-dressed students sharing their cultural background.

Staff will also be participating in the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre’s ‘Feast For Freedom’ for the fifth year, raising money to support people seeking asylum in Australia so they can live safely, sustainably, independently and equally.
