This is what our students have been up to this week.
Our 4/5 class have been focusing on creative writing structures, brainstorming their ideas and organising these ideas to create a narrative. While it can be tricky to organise and get your ideas down, it was great to see students highly engaged in their writing.
Grade 6 are fortunate to have been chosen to be part of the Kids In Space Education Program with the Andy Thomas Space Foundation and the Australian Space Agency, which will run throughout Terms 1 and 2. As part of this program, we have been given a 3D printer which we will use to solve problems both here on earth and for the astronauts up in space! Today we gave our printer a test run and made ourselves a class mascot. Stay tuned for updates throughout the program!
