Maths in Room B4

Over the past 5 weeks, Year Three & Four students have been learning how to solve multi-digit addition and subtraction problems using efficient strategies. They have spent time building their understanding of how place value supports finding the correct answer to the problem. This has involved using manipulatives to understand the problem, especially when the process involves the renaming of digits. Students have also recorded the problem using the vertical algorithm.
