SCHOLASTIC BOOK CLUB - ISSUE 2
Issue 2 catalogues were distributed last week, and all orders are due by 4pm today (Friday 14th March). This will be the last issue for Term 1. Thank you for supporting this program, every time we order a book – even if it is a $1 order – our school earns valuable rewards.
LIBRARY BORROWING
Here is your child’s borrowing day so that you might help remind them to pop their library book in their school bag the night before.
Borrowing Days
Monday: Grade 1, 5/8 and Grade 6
Thursday: Foundation - F1, F2, F4 & F15; 4/19 & 4/20 and 5/5 & 5/6
Friday: Foundation – F3, Grade 2, Grade 3 and 4/26
BOOK HOSPITAL
If you notice any damage to our library books when you are reading with your child, please leave a note of the damage in the front cover for your child to return to our BOOK HOSPITAL.
LIBRARY WEBSITE
library.langwarrinparkps.vic.edu.au is our Library search website listing every single book on our shelves along with Clickview videos. Instructions on how to log your child into this page are located on the home page, however families can browse without a login too. In this space you can view your child/ren's current loans, loan history, write book reviews, reserve books, and create a reading list.

Recently I have been reconnecting with Frankston City library and have discovered some great resources and events. Two of the events listed below are over the school holidays and you do need to book. They may be a great way to spend a part of your day and why not borrow a book or two while the LPPS library is on holidays!
Frankston City Library - Story Lab - Wednesday, 19 March 2025
Story lab (suitable for 8-14) is a fun writing activity event facilitated by one of our library team members using online resource Story Box. The program uses inspirational guidance (videos) from Australian children's authors, illustrators and storytellers to connect, engage, inspire, and educate your budding writer.
