Wellbeing Report

Main focuses:

  • REAL SCHOOLS - On Tuesday, 11th March, we held a whole-school curriculum day, where all teaching staff and ES aides participated in a full-day professional development session with Daniel Vella on ‘Building a Restorative School Community’. As a staff we are focussing on Language, particularly ‘affective statements’. We look forward to welcoming Daniel back on Wednesday, 19th March, when he will be working in classrooms, modelling restorative practices.

     

  • BREAKFAST CLUB – is back up and running! Pop by for some toast, fruit and milk on Monday’s, Wednesday’s and Friday’s from 8:30am. Remember to thank our lovely volunteers and put your rubbish in the bin!

     

  • BELLA - Bella is back on-site and has been working hard on yard duty in the mornings and helps students get to their classroom if they’ve had a tricky morning. She spends a lot of time in the Art room with Mrs Hamilton and continues to be a valued member of staff. 

     

  • ICAN CHALLENGE – Our Year 5 and 6 walkers have already raised a massive $130 000 towards the Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal! We still have over two weeks until the 25km challenge and plenty of time to reach our goal of $250 000.
