Sports Update

Stage 3 Golf

Stage 3 students are incredibly fortunate! To enhance their skills before this weekend's P&F Golf Day, they'll receive expert coaching from golf development officers this Friday and next Monday. The Friday session is a fantastic opportunity to sharpen their game for the Sunday Golf Ambrose!

Basketball

We are excited to announce basketball clinics next Wednesday and Thursday, led by Basketball NSW representative, Blake Kelly. This school-wide initiative will provide students of all grades with valuable skill development in basketball. Please ensure your child brings joggers for these sessions. Furthermore, Mr. Kelly will host an after-school clinic on Wednesday, March 26th, catering to students aged 11-17. Details and registration information are included in the attached flyer.

ACS Winter Trials

Next Friday, the 28th March, the Armidale Catholic Schools Winter Trials will be held at Sport UNE, Armidale. Sports our students are trialling for are; Rugby League (11s and 12s), Netball and Soccer. We wish these students all the best!

Cross Country

Take two for our Cross Country Carnival will be Monday the 31st March at the Glen Innes Golf Club. For students in Years 3 to 6 who qualify for the Diocesan carnival, this will be held on Friday 4th April in Barraba. This is the same week as our school carnival.

Students are to wear their normal sports uniform on Monday and will wear it again for regular sport on Friday of the same week. We will have the Lions Van for the students to purchase lunch items, along with iBlend Coffee van for the adults operating again on the day. Students come to school as normal and will be transported to the venue by bus.

A Google Form was sent out last week for parents to fill out to indicate their availability for helping at the carnival. We understand that plans change from week to week and your availability may have changed from the original questionnaire. Thank you to those parents who have already responded.

NSW CPS Swimming Carnival

Five of our exceptional students have qualified for the NSW CPS Swimming Carnival in Sydney, taking place on April 2nd and 3rd. This is a testament to their unwavering commitment and the countless hours of hard work they've invested in their swimming. They will be competing in the following events:
