In the Prep classes we have kicked off the term by learning our farm animal signs. By the end of the first session the children were able to sign 'my favourite animal ______'.

It was very impressive to see them paying extra attention to the location and direction of their hands when signing. The photo below shows a student demonstrating the sign for horse. 

In Grade 1&2 we have started learning the signs for fruits. The students have also learnt the importance of using their face and head when signing 'do like' and 'don't like'. This is extra important when asking for or ordering something so you don't get served something you don't enjoy!
