What a season for our Chev Show Team at local shows. Across cattle, dairy, sheep and paraders, our students showed skill, teamwork and huge passion, and the results have been outstanding!
Beef Cattle
Our cattle team were awarded Champion Steer multiple times across the season, finishing the local circuit on a high last weekend at the Camden Show with 1st and 2nd in both lightweight and heavyweight heats, another Champion Steer, and Champion School Exhibit.
At Moss Vale Show, everything we entered placed, including wins in both lightweight and heavyweight classes and another Champion Steer. Our Yallambee heifer also claimed Champion Junior Female at Kangaroo Valley and Moss Vale Shows.
One steer now heads to the Sydney Royal for hoof & hook, Chev will be competing in school parader and the school cattle class, while the rest of the team prepares for Wingham Beef Week in May.
Paraders
A successful year for our paraders, with Jake, Grace and Darci each winning senior divisions at different shows. At Camden, Jake B won the 17s heat with Darci W 2nd, and our juniors all placed in their heats. Four seniors, Grace O, Darci W, Jake B and Georgie M, qualified for the Sydney Royal Paraders Final held at Robertson Show.
Dairy
Evelyn D was crowned Champion Parader, with strong placings from Jamie S, Henry W and Klara S‑A.
Sheep
Champion & Reserve Champion Aussie White Ewe and Aussie White Ram.
Alpacas & Ag Ed
Six juniors tried alpaca showing for the first time, and our Year 9 Ag class created an interactive Prime Lamb Production display in the Education Tent at Camden Show. Plus wins in the produce section, including 1st in 3kg potatoes!
An incredible local season from our wonderful teams. Congratulations to every student and their supporters

Last weekend, our 1st XV rugby boys travelled to Canberra for the annual rugby tour, an invaluable few days filled with high‑level sporting experiences, team bonding, and personal development.
The tour kicked off on Friday with a visit to Daramalan College, where the team played a friendly match against our fellow MSC school. That evening, the boys enjoyed the atmosphere of a Super Rugby clash, watching the Brumbies take on the Waratahs.
Saturday saw the team attend the Marist College Canberra Gala Day, where they participated in games and connected with players from across the region. They also took part in a specialist training session with former Brumbies player Murray Harley, focusing on body awareness, positioning, and on‑field decision‑making.
On Saturday night, the group shared dinner at the Canberra Rugby Club before a busy Sunday that included a guided tour of the AIS and an NRL match between the Canberra Raiders and the Cronulla Sharks.
The tour wrapped up on Monday with an exclusive visit to the Brumbies’ training facility with Cam Treloar, followed by a training session on the Brumbies’ oval, a once-in-a-lifetime experience for the boys.
It was a fantastic weekend of rugby, learning, and camaraderie, and we’re proud of the way our players represented the College throughout the tour.
