Celebration of Learning - Open Classrooms
What a great way to end the Term!
It was wonderful to see so many families visiting classrooms during Open Classroom last Friday. The students were so proud to share their learning and it was lovely to see the enthusiasm and engagement as they talked about their work with you. Thank you to everyone who took the time to come along and support our students.

Dental Van
The school Dental Van will be visiting St Mary’s Primary School from 27 April to provide on-site dental check-ups for eligible students. Parents are required to complete a consent form before the visit if they wish for their child to participate.

Managing the School Holidays
School holidays often bring excitement but also a shifting of routines and big emotions. While many parents picture calm, happy days, reality can feel like juggling boredom, sibling conflict, and constant demands. You’re not alone and this is a normal part of family life.
A loose daily structure such as a morning activity, midday rest, afternoon play and a calm evening routine can reduce stress and support regulation.
Rather than aiming for the perfect holiday, lower the bar. Children benefit most from simple things and predictable rhythms, emotional warmth, rest and opportunities to play. Activities like nature walks, board games, baking together or visiting the local library can keep children engaged without overwhelming them. If screen time increases, balance it with outdoor play and social interactions.
Most importantly, embrace the slower pace and enjoy this precious time together!
Wishing everyone a lovely Easter and holiday break!
