News from Swinburne Uni
A Day in the Life of a Swinburne Student
What’s the best way to discover what uni is really like? Experience it for yourself! Your students can do exactly that thanks to our immersive events just for high school students:
Tuesday 24, Wednesday 25 and Thursday 26 September Advanced Technologies Centre, Hawthorn campus
With nine different study areas to choose from, hands-on workshops, informative presentations and more, your students won’t want to miss out. Last year’s sessions filled up fast, so make sure your students register now so they can secure a place in their preferred workshops.
Each day covers different study areas so your student can get a firsthand glimpse of what their uni experience might be like – including engineering, science, media, education, creative, business, law, health and psychology.

Early Entry Program
Early Entry Program offers another excellent non-ATAR route for unscored VCE students, via an application that is assessed using a recommendation from their school instead. Your student will also need to complete the scored VCE subject prerequisites for their chosen course (such as VCE English).
If they are studying VCE Vocational Major, unfortunately they are not eligible for the Early Entry program, but they are encouraged to explore pathways to Swinburne using our pathway planner
