Quiz Night

Our recent Friday Quiz Night was a wonderful success. We had eleven wonderfully decorated tables, with many of those attending dressing up to make for a colourful night. Everyone participated enthusiastically in the various rounds and the many games during the evening.

It was wonderful to see so many parents, staff and friends having fun together, with the aim of raising funds for our Year 6 Canberra trip. Congratulations go to the winning team, who also took out the prize for best dressed, sporting stunning Pirate costumes.

Enormous thanks go to the wonderful parent team who organised and ran the event; Katrina Driessen, Susan Rowe, Issy Muir-Kelly, Kylie Sih and Teressa Hennessy, as well as all the community groups who donated prizes. We also thank Hugh Richardson, our Deputy Head of Primary, who was a wonderful quiz master and MC for the night.

Term 3 School Fees

A reminder that Term 3 school fees are due this Friday 27 September.

Year 11/12 Katoomba Camp

Our Year 11 and 12 students are heading off to Katoomba in NSW tomorrow morning for their camp.

We look forward to hearing a great report on their return.

No 'Toastie Thursday' this week

There will be no toasties this Thursday, as Mrs Riley will be away on the Year 11/12 camp.

We will be back and ready to go in week 1 next term. Have a great holiday everyone, and thanks for a great term!

Pre-Kinder Sessions in November

Southern Christian College Kindergarten will be hosting Pre-Kinder sessions throughout the month of November on Thursday mornings from 9:30-11:30am. Already enrolled and new families with children entering Kinder in 2025 are invited to attend. Sessions are for one parent and child.

Sessions are designed to be relaxed and will allow your child to become familiar with their classroom, peers and teachers prior to starting Kinder in 2025.

Reminder! - End of Day Arrangements

Where possible, parents are encouraged to discuss end of day arrangements with their children before school to minimise end of day calls to the office and interruptions to classes. Thank you.
