Youth Mass for Primary aged children

Last Saturday at the 6pm Mass- 14th September

Last Saturday evening at the 6pm Mass, it was lovely to see over 30 students from our school actively participate in a Youth led Mass, coordinated by our Parish Youth 

coordinator, Emma Christy. 

Our students and students from St Luke’s were involved in the Readings, Prayers of the Faithful, Offertory, Choir and Altar Serving. After Mass the students and their families all enjoyed Pizza, drinks and a Trivia game in the MPJC. 

Thank you to Father Jackson Saunders, Emma Christy and Mr Chris Summers for assisting in the organisation and running of the Mass and activities after Mass. 

As a faith filled community, we were pleasantly reminded of God’s presence during the night as the students all joined in as one, in prayer and song to celebrate the Eucharist.

Thank you to all the students who attended the Mass and proceedings afterwards.

A wonderful way to end the term as a Parish community. Thank you.

Our next Youth led Mass for Primary aged students will be, Saturday November the 9th at the 6pm Mass.  We look forward to seeing many of our students and their families attending this Mass too.  If students or families are interested to be involved in this Mass, please see me (Leanne Pellegrino).
