Energy Audit

During the second last weeks of school, students investigated energy consumption in classrooms. They measured the lighting, power use, heating, and airflow with certain tools. Some findings were that projectors used 4 times as much power as air purifiers. Heaters should be set to 18-21 degrees in Winter and 24-27 degrees in Summer. Appliances should be turned off when not in use, and all PowerPoints should be switched off when not in use.

Our Family is Growing

St Cecilia’s has 3 new chickens. They are a cross breed between an Australorp and New Hampshire and should be great layers. The old chickens have retired alive and well at Anna’s.

Students continue to sow seed and plant summer seedlings ready for the fair.
