Welcome

In this edition of MY FUTURE Careers News, we are heading into our final term break of the year. Universities are providing opportunities for students and their parents to tour campuses and attend revision lectures in readiness for 2025. Year 12 students have entered their preferences for University and TAFE courses and are now concentrating on their exam preparation period.

Applications for Special Entry Access Scheme (SEAS) close on Friday, 11 October at 5pm. Students are reminded to meet these deadlines. ATARs will be released on Thursday, 12 December at 7am. More information to follow.

Students in other year levels will shortly be receiving notifications of Subject Selections for 2025. This is an exciting time for students. Our senior years Orientation program will be upon us before long. Students are encouraged to seek Career advice if they do decide to change subjects at this time.

In addition, this edition includes information on

  • University tours and experiences in the holidays
  • Revision Lectures for senior students
  • LCI Holiday workshops
  • The power of practice tests/exams
  • How to become a Book Editor
  • The Pros and Cons of a Gap Year.
