Last day of Term 3 | Thursday 26 September

Please be reminded that Term 3 concludes on Thursday 26 September 2024 for all students from Kinder to Year 12. 

 

The next day, Friday 27 September, is designated as a Student Free Day and the College will be closed to all students. On this day, both teaching and non-teaching staff will engage in a Staff Spirituality Day – an opportunity to enhance their faith and connection with God. 

 

During the term break, the Student Services office will be open for enquiries from 9.00am to 3.00pm, Monday to Friday. 

 

The office will return normal business hours on Monday 14 October for the start of Term 4 (students commence on Tuesday 15 October). During the school term, the office is open from 8.0am to 4.00pm.

Connect push notifications 

Exciting news: Our Learning Management System, Connect has enabled push notifications, which means users can now receive notifications via the Connect web app on their mobile device. 

 

Please follow the instructions below to activate this feature, ensuring that you stay informed about all the important news and updates from the College. 

Have you ordered your Junior School Tea Towel? 

In celebration of our St Mary's College community, students in the Junior School have created a charming range of commemorative tea towels which are now available to the public for purchase. 

These unique souvenir items feature individual portraits carefully hand drawn by each student from Kinder to Year 6, offering a cherished keepsake for parents, carers, relatives and special friends of the College. 

 

The pictures have been arranged into four commemorative designs: 

  • The Kinder and Prep design will be screen printed in a sky blue onto a high-quality white tea towel
  • The Year 1 and 2 design will be screen printed in a green onto a high-quality white tea towel
  • The Year 3 and 4 design will be screen printed in a navy blue onto a high-quality white tea towel
  • The Year 5 and 6 design will be screen printed in a bottle green onto a high-quality white tea towel

The tea towels look amazing, they are easy to post and are a wonderful memento of your child's attendance at the College in 2024. 

 

The cost is $15 for each tea towel. Orders can be made using the Qkr!  mobile phone app and close on Thursday 26 September.

Please note, if your child commenced at SMC in Term 3, they have not been included in their class tea towel as the project was completed in Term 2. 

 

We apologise to families of those particular students, and we hope to run another tea towel fundraiser in a few years' time.
