RUOK Day

We enjoyed our Term 3 Wellbeing Day on Wednesday, as we learnt about RUOK? Day. The day involved activities, buddy catchups, games outside and a whole-school assembly. It was a wonderful opportunity to check-in with each other (staff and students) and give support, as required. It was a really fun day with an electric vibe across the school!

Term 3, Week 10

As we approach the end of another term, it's a wonderful opportunity to look back and explore the topics we've been covering in weekly Wellbeing lessons.

  • Week 6: Topic 6 from Respectful Relationships (Help-seeking) by asking for help and solving problems.
  • Week 7: Consider how others are feeling and accept group decisions.
  • Week 8: Topic 6 from Respectful Relationships (Help-seeking) by asking for help and solving problems.
  • Week 9: Being responsible by putting out rubbish in the bin and recycling.
  • Week 10: Waiting our turn and showing fairness

We also marked RUOK? This is the day during the last week of term when students learnt about the importance of checking in with themselves and the people around them. The day also included completing buddy reading and activities with our buddy classes and playing games based on teamwork and clear communication. Our S.R.C. Captains (Avina and Ishaan) ran a whole-school assembly where S.R.C. Representatives shared the activities their class participated in throughout the day and their understanding of RUOK? Day. Thanks to everyone involved in making this day meaningful and memorable. It was clear when students were speaking at the assembly that the messageing around RUOK? Day of checking in, listening and supporting the people around us, was heard by students across the school. If you would like more information about RUOK? Day, please head to https://www.ruok.org.au/
