This week in The Resilience Project, we are learning to identify different feelings and match feelings to a situation.


VOCABULARY

Feelings/Emotions - the way you feel about things that are happening to you.


ACTIVITIES YOU CAN DO AT HOME TO SUPPORT YOUR CHILD'S LEARNING

Ask your child to brainstorm all of the feelings they know, and write/draw these emotions on a piece of paper. Cut them up so they are individualised.

 

Discuss what each of these emotions are, maybe asking your child to explain a time that they felt each of these emotions and support your child to put the emotions in order from the happiest to saddest.
