Dear HPS Parents, 

Just a reminder for term 4 to keep sick children home from school until they are well enough to attend. We are trying to prevent illness and keep all staff and students well, especially the vulnerable people in our community.

The school exclusion table which is on the DET website states that children with vomiting and diarrhoea should not be school until 48 hours post symptoms. 

Also, children with colds and flu-like symptoms should not be at school until they are well and fairly symptom free.  Any child with a fever (above 37.5) should also not be attending school.

Bayside Maternal and Child Health Centre back in operation

Please note that the Maternal and Child Health Centre at 483 Hampton Street has now re-opened, please do not use their carparking spaces at drop off and pick up times, they are required for clients.
