SMPS Academics in the Media

You may have noticed SMPS academic results popping up in quite a number of online sources recently. This is due to 2024 NAPLAN results recently being made public. We are incredibly proud of the outcomes that our Year 3 and 5 children reach in Literacy and Numeracy in Years 3 and 5 (and all other year levels!). These fundamental subjects have a significant impact on children's readiness for high school and beyond. It is fantastic to see the hard work of staff and students paying off as we continue striving to provide the best education in Victoria. 

We encourage families to have a look at the My School website if they would like to explore this further. Search for South Melbourne Primary School, click on the NAPLAN tab and then the results tab.

Reports Released

We were very excited to share our students' progress with families this week via Semester Reports and Term 4 Student Dashboards. They capture many incredible achievements in both outcomes and progress. What a way to wrap up the year!

The vast majority of families have already accessed these via Compass. If you have any difficulty accessing them, please ask your child's teacher or visit the school office for assistance.
