Kindergarten Co-educator

Mount Evelyn Christian School is seeking a passionate Kindergarten Co-educator. This is an ongoing position (approx. 2 days per week – Tuesdays and Thursdays), commencing 22 January 2025.

Key selection criteria

• Dedicated and proficient early childhood co-educator seeking to support the delivery of rich learning experiences.
• Proven capacity to build strong relationships with children, colleagues and families.
• Certificate III or Diploma in Children’s Services.
• Current Working With Children Check.

Mount Evelyn Christian School is seeking a passionate three-year-old Kindergarten Teacher. This is a fixed one year Maternity-Leave position (0.49 FTE), commencing 22 January 2025. The days of work each week are Tuesday and Thursday, with some flexible planning time.

2025 Primary Digital Technologies Teacher

Mount Evelyn Christian School is seeking a passionate, enthusiastic and capable teacher of Primary School Digital Technologies. This is a negotiable position (0.8 – full-time FTE), commencing 22 January 2025.

The successful applicant will be a classroom teacher tasked with implementing the Victorian Technologies Curriculum, which includes Design and Technology and Digital Technologies Victorian Technology Curriculum v2.0 .

Key selection criteria

• Demonstrated high-quality teaching skills.
• Able to articulate a Christian perspective for language learning and shapes curriculum and pedagogy accordingly.
• VIT registered.

Teaching & Learning Executive Assistant

Mount Evelyn Christian School has a part-time (0.6-0.8 FTE, negotiable) position available for a Teaching & Learning Executive Assistant, commencing Wednesday 22 January, 2025. The hours are 8:20am – 4:30pm. 

The primary task of the T&L Executive Assistant is to assist both Head of Primary and Head of Secondary with teaching and learning administrative tasks. These include but are not limited to facilitating NAPLAN, Parent Teacher Interviews, end of semester reports, as well as being an active member of the administrative team. The successful applicant will possess strong computer literacy skills.

Community Advancement Coordinator

Mount Evelyn Christian School has a part-time (0.6-0.8 FTE, negotiable) position available for a Community Advancement Coordinator, commencing Wednesday 22 January, 2025. The hours are 8:20am – 4:30pm. 

The Community Advancement Coordinator’s primary task is to support & develop external and internal community relationships. They will lead the Community Advancement team, offering leadership and strategic direction to the team. They will work closely with the Principal, Enrolment Manager and Executive Assistant assisting and complementing them in their role as required.

Mount Evelyn Christian School has a part-time (0.4 FTE) position available for a Community Communications Officer, commencing Wednesday 22 January, 2025. The hours are 8:20am – 4:30pm. 

The Community Communications Officer’s primary task is to support & take direction from the Community Advancement Coordinator as his or her assistant with areas of communication, in particular relevant newsletters. The role also has a special focus on connecting with alumni.

Casual Relief Teachers and Potential Short-Term Contracts in Term 4, 2024.

Mount Evelyn Christian School is seeking applicants for Casual Relief Teachers to cover Secondary School. Casual Relief Teachers are generally engaged at short notice, usually for a half-day or full day, and occasionally several days at a time. New graduates and experienced teachers are welcome to apply.

There is also the potential of requiring short-term contracts in Maths, English, Humanities and Learning Intervention throughout the year. We would love to hear from dedicated teachers interested in these roles also.
