Message From Our Principal

Mrs Jackie Stockdale

As Term 3 draws to a close, I would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our wonderful school community for another fantastic term of learning, growth, and togetherness. It has been inspiring to witness the resilience, creativity, and enthusiasm of our students, staff, and families. Whether in the classroom, on the playground, or during our special events, the spirit of collaboration and support has shone through. I wish everyone a restful and enjoyable break, and we look forward to welcoming you back, refreshed and ready for the final term of 2024!

I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone for the tremendous effort put into my appraisal this week. The panel shared incredibly positive feedback, particularly praising the warm atmosphere of our school, the kindness of everyone they encountered, and the overall presentation of our environment. They specifically asked me to pass on their gratitude for your time and dedication. I also want to express my personal appreciation for your ongoing support—it truly means a lot.

Footy Colours Day

Footy Colours Day was an outstanding success, filled with excitement and team spirit! Students and staff proudly wore their favourite team’s colours, celebrating our love for the game while supporting a meaningful cause. A special highlight of the day was the footy clinic run by AFL Goulburn Murray (AFLGM), where students had the opportunity to develop their skills through fun, interactive drills and activities. The clinic added an extra layer of excitement and engagement, and we are incredibly grateful to AFLGM for their involvement. Thank you to everyone who participated and made the day such a memorable event!

What an awesome day Tamara, Zac, Cabe and Ella have had at the Division Athletics!

Tamara came 3rd in discus.

Zac came 1st in 200m and 2nd in triple jump.

Cabe came 5th in shot put.

Ella came 3rd shot put.

Zac's results see him making it through to th next stage of the competition.

Congratulations!!! We are so proud of your efforts and well you represented our school.

R U OK? Day

Celebrating R U OK? Day was a special moment for our school community as we came together to raise awareness about the importance of checking in on one another. Dressed in vibrant yellow, students and staff embraced the message of care and connection. A highlight of the day was presenting our teachers and LSO staff with thoughtful R U OK? hampers, filled with treats as a small gesture of appreciation for all they do. The excitement continued with a raffle for the students, giving them the chance to win their own R U OK? hamper. It was a meaningful day, reminding us all to take time to support one another, not just today, but every day.

DILMAC:

Congratulations to all of our talented students who have been participating in Dilmac music lessons and recently showcased their hard work and dedication in the end-of-term recital. It was a delight to see the progress and passion each student displayed as they performed with confidence and enthusiasm. Your commitment to learning and growing in your musical abilities is truly inspiring, and we are so proud of each one of you. A big thank you to the Dilmac team for their guidance and support in helping our students shine!

Sacramental Journey:

A heartfelt congratulations to Francis, Ryder, and Archer on receiving the Sacraments of Confirmation and First Eucharist. This is a significant and special milestone in their faith journey, and we are incredibly proud of their commitment and dedication. May the gifts of the Holy Spirit continue to guide and inspire them, and may they always feel the deep sense of joy and grace that comes from these sacraments. Our school community celebrates this wonderful achievement with them and their families.

Upcoming Community Events:

We have 2 upcoming community events: Specialist Showcase & Outdoor Twlight Movie Night

Can Collecting:

Don't forget to send in your cans for our community partnership with KCLC. Thank you to everyone who has been sending their cans in.

The team would just like to remind everyone to ensure that cans are fully emptied before bringing them in. It would be great if families can leave cans emptied and upside down to drain them properly before they send them in.

We are so lucky to have lots of amazing resources and sports equipment at St Pats for your children to play with during snack and lunch however, we could always use more to fill up the yard basket.

If you have any old sports equipment you don't have space/need for at your house we are holding a sports equipment drive where you can drop it off to us and the Sports and Health leaders will determine its condition and put it out in our sports tub for Lunch and Snack time use.

There is no pressure to contribute and please do not buy anything to donate- this is not the aim of this drive. Anything you have spare is great and we would be so appreciative if you could bring anything in. For example a lot of our tennis balls have grown legs and have run away so we are always looking for tennis balls to use in the yard.

Send in your donated sports equipment and our Sports and Health Leaders will rename it, rehome it and relove it!.
