Balmoral Gives Back 2025
Many parents and students from 2024 will remember our Food Drive in aid of FareShare - a remarkable organisation located in our local area and supplying meals to over 1,000,000 people experiencing food insecurity every year.
Our contribution was a whopping 263 kilograms of goods. This year our students believe we can do better!
These are the items that can be brought to school on Wednesday 4 June to be eligible for a free dress pass! All packets must be sealed.
Checkout those ½ price specials for:

- canned cannellini beans
- borlotti beans
- mustard
- canned tomatoes
- tomato paste
LUNCH BOX SESSIONS
Another Lunch Box session will take place on Thursday 22 May. All students are encouraged to attend these very informative sessions.
Young Entrepreneurs Boot Camp 2025
Last year five Balmoral students attended this amazing opportunity during the July School holidays. Students had the chance to develop their own marketing ideas supported by leaders in the field of start-ups. There were even substantial prizes awarded to teams.
This year The Bulimba Community Centre joins with Future Unicorns to offer students the chance to harness their skills to be successful an entrepreneurial world.
The program is fully catered for $295 and runs from Monday 30 June to Friday 4 July.

TRP (Online)
The Resilience Project is committed to teaching positive mental health strategies to prevent mental ill health and build young people’s capacity to deal with adversity.
We’re proud to be implementing TRP’s evidence-based whole school wellbeing program to support positive mental health in the classroom, staffroom and wider community. Students will engage in weekly lessons to understand and strengthen their practice of Gratitude, Empathy, Mindfulness and Emotional Literacy, with regular opportunity for parent/carer involvement.

Exciting Camp Opportunity at Maroon Outdoor Education Centre
We’re thrilled to share details about our upcoming Year 11 school camp at the Maroon Outdoor Education Centre — it will be a fantastic five-day experience focused on outdoor learning, leadership, and teamwork.
Camp Details:
- Location: Maroon Outdoor Education Centre
- Dates: Monday 28 July – Friday 1 August 2025
- Duration: 5 days, 4 nights (students will be accommodated in cabins)
- Transport: Return travel by bus
- Estimated Cost: ~$350 (final amount TBC), covering meals, accommodation, transport, and insurance↪ Please note: All outstanding school fees must be paid before camp payments can be receipted. Payment plans are available if needed.
- Eligibility: Attendance is subject to the eligibility requirements outlined in the Senior Schooling Agreement.
This camp promises to be a memorable and rewarding experience, offering students the chance to build confidence, strengthen friendships, and grow as future leaders — all in a supportive and safe outdoor setting.
