Just a friendly reminder that Student Support Group meetings will be coming up for some students at the end of the term. We will be holding SSG meetings for Mr Murrell's class in Week 10 and every other class in Week 11. Families who require an SSG meeting for their child will be notified via Compass and will need make a booking for the allocated day and time set for each teacher.
If you are unable to make a booking or make the times set aside, please notify your child's teacher to make alternative arrangements. Please be mindful that teachers have scheduled meetings after school on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday's.
This week we have trialed our Year 6 Captains greeting everyone into school with their tunes to promote a sense of connectedness and belonging. We are also trialing 'Before School Bootcamp' sessions to promote healthy bodies and healthy minds through fun and physical activities.
Both ideas have come from observations taken from staff and students on student moral and general lateness. Through these initiatives, we hope to foster greater connection, eagerness for school and release those endorphins to help us throughout the day, especially as the weather gets cooler.
