Education Week
Last week we celebrated Education Week, with the theme ‘Celebration of Cultures’.
To highlight the diversity of our communities and the importance of every child feeling safe and welcome at school, classes held Multicultural morning circles, with positive primers and learnt greetings in different languages.
Specialist and Inquiry lessons linked to culture with the 'Carnivale' theme in Visual Art and Performing Arts.
During the week, we reflected on the richness and diversity that make our learning community so special and been exploring our diverse world through.
We’re proud to be a place where every child can learn, grow, and thrive — surrounded by the many cultures that shape our school community.
Call out - Help Wanted!
The school has recently purchased many, many new decodable readers that are in need of contacting! These books will then be available to be sent home for take home reading! If you would be willing to help with this, please let Jess know!
