FightMND-Big Freeze 11 

Over the past few weeks our SRC members have worked very hard to raise much needed funds for FightMND. This charity raises money for people living with Motor Neurone disease and working towards finding a cure. Every day in Australia, two people are diagnosed with MND and two people die from it. In the 11 years since Fight MND commenced, they have invested  over $115 million into research and projects for those living with MND.

At present, Solway have raised this year $5600 in merchandise sales and a further $1500 in donations. This total far surpassed our $1000 target, allowing us to dunk not only Mr Rosser as first promised, but also a few surprise guests. Thank you to Mr Rosser, Mrs Nancarrow and Mr Duncan for 'volunteering' to participate. A big thank you to Mr Guy and the SRC team for coordinating the event, promoting and sales of merchandise.
