Planning Your Journey

The permission slip for the Year 10 Retreat has been sent through Parent Slip. Retreats are integral aspects of the curriculum at the College, providing invaluable opportunities for personal growth, team building, and reflection. We believe these experiences are essential for the holistic development of our students. Therefore, attendance at all College-organised events within the school year is considered compulsory.
Please complete and return the permission slip by the end of Week 9 to ensure all preparations can be finalised. Your timely response is greatly appreciated, and we look forward to a wonderful retreat for our Year 10 students.
Term 3 is shaping up to be a busy and important term for our Year 10 students.
Looking Ahead – Key Dates to Note:
Week 1: Subject Expo
This evening will provide students with the opportunity to learn more about the subjects on offer in Senior Schooling for 2026, including a dedicated session specifically for students entering Year 11 in 2026.
Week 2: Year 10 Retreat / Alternate Program
Weeks 3 and 4: SET Plan Interviews
Students will be invited to book an interview with selected staff to complete their SET Plans. This process provides students with the opportunity to discuss their future pathways and select their senior subjects for 2026.
The subject expo for students and parents/carers in Years 8, 9, and 10 will take place on Wednesday, 16 July. Parents/carers are expected to attend for information about subject selection and career pathways in 2026.
The Year 11 2026 session will start at 5:00 pm. It will begin with an information session about the Senior Pathways available at the College. At 5:30 pm, the Subject Expo, including External Certificate providers and local University displays, will commence. Parents and students are expected to attend to learn about subject selection and career pathways in 2026.
As we approach the end of the term, we appreciate your continued support in ensuring Year 10 students meet the College’s uniform and grooming standards. This includes maintaining appropriate haircuts, wearing the correct uniform each day, and following the school’s jewellery guidelines—such as wearing only permitted items like a watch and small, plain studs or sleepers. These expectations remain in place for the entire term. I appreciate your support in reinforcing these standards at home.
The library will close early at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, June 27.
