Literacy

Over the past few weeks we have started to explore procedural texts. This week we have been reading a fantastic book called "How to Wash a Woolly Mammoth'. Students have been introduced to new vocabulary eg. 'notorious' and 'heavy duty' and have been making connections as they read.

"My horse is notorious for bucking me off." - Hemi

"I am notorious for not wearing my glasses." - Teddie

"The heavy duty plane is flying above." - Toby

"The cover of my iPad is heavy duty." - Thomas

"Crocodiles are notorious for eating people." - Milla
