Year 1 Reflections

This term we are learning about maps in Grade 1. We made classroom maps and bedroom maps. 

We have been learning about countries, continents, and states that are all around the world. 

In writing, we have been writing about our holidays and our butterflies called Monnie Miles and Alissa Rose. We loved writing about our holidays and butterflies. 

We wrote about our fun holidays and the fantastic time we had with our butterflies. It was sad to say goodbye to the butterflies. 

We also have been learning about length and measurement in maths. We used paper clips and cubes to measure stuff around our classroom. 

In topic, we have been learning about our STAR values and how to be safe. 

In STEM we have been making grass heads, and we have been watering and cutting them each week.
