Softball State Championships

A massive congratulations to Arlo Bullock for being selected in the Polding Team for Softball last week. Arlo will compete in the State Championships held in Penrith from 27th-29th August 2024. 

Penrith Netball Trip

Is your child interested in trialling for a St Edward's Netball team to represent our school in Sydney to compete in the Catholic Schools Netball Championships this September? 

This annual excursion for our Netball teams allows our students to represent their school against other schools from around Sydney and regional areas. 

The Penrith Netball trip will occur in Term 3 on the 2nd & 3rd September, 2024. 

We will be taking:

1x 8/9yr team

1x 10yr team 

1x 11yr team 

2x 12 yr teams

We will be holding trials at recess on:

Friday Week 9 (28/6/2024) 8/9 & 10 yrs

Friday Week 10 (5/7/2024) 11 & 12 yrs

If your child is interested in playing, but won't be here for either trial, please email myself (Mrs Gippel) so I can find an alternate time to watch them play on a Saturday in the local competition: nmcculloch@arm.catholic.edu.au

Toni Palmer Memorial Shield

The Toni Palmer Memorial Shield will take place in Inverell on Thursday 4th July (next week). A reminder that students will be required to make their own way to and from Inverell.  We are still looking for two boys to join the juniors team. 

If your son is in Year 3 or 4 and plays or has played Rugby League and is interested in playing in the Toni Palmer Cup, please email Mrs Gippel by the end of tomorrow (Friday 28th June).

The Armidale Diocesan Primary Sports Council is a body representative of the Catholic Education Office, Principals and Sports Coordinators from all Diocesan Primary Schools.
