Principal's Message

Dear parents, students and families,

What a wonderful way to end the term! Congratulations to the Soccer team who won the District Soccer today beating Kananook 5-3. The team will now go through to division later in the year. Well done team!!!

This week's Gospel's message is about faith, generosity and gratitude. As we move into the school holidays take some time to share your faith: feel the healing touch that faith can bring into your life, be generous with your time and gifts and have gratitude for the people in your lives.  Last night some of our Grade 6 students began their journey to confirming their faith by attending the Confirmation Information meeting. We pray that the Holy Spirit helps them to develop their gifts as they become full members of the Church.

The 5/6 students have visited Scienceworks this week and there were many great stories about the Planetarium. Thank you to the staff who organised this wonderful excursion.

This week we have had school interviews for all students. These meeting have provided an opportunity to reflect on the report you have received and discuss goals for the second half of the year. Thank you to the teachers for preparing reports and for knowing the children and their progress so well.

Yesterday, the Foundation students invited the whole school to visit their zoo which was the celebration of the work they had done about animals and habitats. It was a wonderful experience for the children to share their knowledge and creativity. Well done!!!

On behalf of the staff,  I wish you a safe and restful school holidays. I hope you enjoy this special time with your children.  We look forward to seeing every one back to school on Monday 15 July.

God Bless

Sally Thomas

Acting Principal
